MEDITATION BROUGHT BY DYNAMIC MOVEMENT TYPE

Some physical activities result to meditation. In the previous paragraph, I stated that meditation can mainly be categorized into two types based on its origin in the course of human history. The first is static type, which is quietly maintaining the same sitting posture at one place for a long time and the second is dynamic type, which uses some dancing and singing to bring a person to a mental trance thereby causing deep meditation.

There are many types of dynamic movements that would result to meditation. These movements usually involve a certain constant rhyme and require hard physical actions similar to those used in the Olympic marathon race. These dynamic movements can also be categorized into two types, slow type and fast type. There is a specific difference between these two types specifically in the process leading to meditation and its psychological effects.

MEDITATION BROUGHT BY DYNAMIC MOVEMENT - SLOW TYPE

By doing light activities such as Hatha-Yoga and Quigon , you can concentrate on the physical movement. Moreover, you can synchronize your physical movement with your pulmonary movement at a certain rhyme. It means that, when you are doing some light exercise, you are also doing a breathing exercise at the same time.

Meditation by slow physical movement can bring you to an experience wherein you will achieve an extremely clear mind and a strong feeling of quietness. By continuously practicing this kind of meditation, you will be able to recognize your stirred emotions and can learn to control your temper. You will always experience a simple and peaceful mind, wherever, whenever or whoever you are with. As a result, your improved mind leads you to a positive mental attitude in life which consequently helps you sustain a positive way of life and helps avoid any influence of worthless events in your daily existence. In other words, by regularly doing a certain light rhythmical activity you can achieve meditation easily and thus will enable you to discover yourself.

MEDITATION BROUGHT BY DYNAMIC MOVEMENT - FAST TYPE

These activities such as dancing are strenuous activities with a certain fast rhyme. The person performing these activities is conscious only on the physical movement. It is very difficult to synchronize the physical movement with the pulmonary movement using these types of activities. The person unnoticeably goes through a mental trance causing deep meditation and enters into perfect happiness. However, it cannot lead to a meditation seeking the inner self. In other words, this type of meditation causes catharsis (process of releasing strong negative feelings). It does not in any way solve the fundamental problem which obstructs happiness.
